Senator Samra Brouk was born in Rochester and raised in the suburbs of Monroe County.

Her journey from the Peace Corps to Albany has been driven by a deep commitment to serving her community. With a background in environmental protection, senior support, and education equity, Samra has always been a champion for positive change.
